Our Paddington fitted sliding door wardrobe has been created for one of our customer’s loft guest bedrooms. The main idea was to create the storage space in the smaller bedroom and to make sure it is not bulky and does not take a lot of space. We have decided to go for the sliding doors as that type of wardrobes does not require room to open it. The mirror door was added to avoid buying the actual stand alone mirror and to make the room look lighter and brighter. It is not a secret, that some people prefer to be able to see themselves in the mirror when they are in bed, this is why the other 3 panels are made of high quality wood-effect MDF boards and the light grey door frames and tracks where chosen.
Not every loft can be fitted with the sliding door wardrobe. Depending on the floorplan we might suggest to have the hinged door closet to make sure it is durable (for example, when the wall behind the projected wardrobe has a slopping ceiling i.e. has different heights). However this is our job to advise and pay your attention to some minor things people sometimes do not pay attention to at first. Our aim is to create durable and enjoyable piece of furniture, that will not only last but also be an interior feature.
