Bespoke Glass door modern dressing room

This exceptional custom-made fitted walk-in dressing room, installed in a grand Richmond residence, sets an exceptionally high benchmark for luxury fitted storage design. Pictured during the final stages of installation, the fully bespoke storage solution represents the synergy of modern elegance and material quality that is immediately impressive and eye catching — the work of craftsmen operating at the very top of their expertise.

The entire carcasses are made of light oak laminated board and had crafted real wood veneer plinths, side panels and elements of the island. Its fine, natural grain make the whole set of units grand and full of character. The warmth and natural character of the oak veneer works beautifully with the tinted toughened glass doors set within made-to-measure aluminium frames, manufactured in Italy. The tinted glass adds the sophisticated depth and minimalistic look the whole structure.

Each section’s internal spec and features are chosen by the customer – from the type and colour of the hanging rail to the number of shelves and the height of those, as well as the number of drawers etc. One of the customer’s requirements was the space for keeping the shoes, which often is a must for the properties with dressing rooms. In this project we have fitted the shoe shelves at the lower half across three sections, with the bag storage at the top sections. The corner section come with the corner hanging rail, which allows to use the L shape section more ergonomically and conveniently. A lot of hanging rails – both smaller and full-length for both shorter items like shirts, tops, jackets, blazers etc and longer – maxi dresses, coats etc.

The dark hanging rails match dark aluminium door frames and the tinted mirror and contrast beautifully with light carcass and structure of the bespoke wardrobes. The fitted light strips add sparkle, luminosity and light to the whole structure. At the centre of the dressing room comes the island unit — crafted in matching oak real wood veneer. It features the glass drawer fronts that match the transparency idea of the whole dressing room. The island’s top surface is finished with the royal blue suede inset, bordered by a crisp oak frame — a detail of extraordinary refinement that elevates the island from a functional storage piece into a luxury dressing accessory in its own right
